Meet the Founders

The Vault was created by Jill and Mirrette, who believe that:

  • Trust is built through showing up

  • Leadership grows through conversation and reflection

  • Business is better when done together

  • Community creates stronger outcomes than isolation

The Vault exists to protect those values.

Founder's Story

The Vault Foundation was created from a deep desire for community, connection, and helping people believe in themselves.

For years, the founder built spaces where people could step into confidence and become who they were meant to be. Through her work in fitness and business, she saw how powerful it is when even one person believes in you. Sometimes that belief becomes the borrowed confidence someone needs until they can find their own.

She looked around at the businesses she trusted and supported, and realized most of them came through personal referrals from people she respected. She started asking: what if there were a circle where founders could meet other trusted founders, build genuine relationships, and rise together?

She wanted something different than the typical networking room—a real community rooted in trust, word-of-mouth connection, and shared growth where referrals and opportunities could happen naturally.

That vision became The Vault.

It started with a small group of founders she already knew and respected. Entry was by relationship and referral. The focus was simple: spotlight incredible businesses, celebrate the people behind them, and create meaningful connections. Referrals could flow from there, grassroots and earned through trust.

At its core, The Vault is built on one belief: when we invest in each other, everyone grows.

As The Vault evolved, it became clear this was bigger than a networking group. Becoming a nonprofit meant the mission could grow beyond her and serve the community at large.

The founder describes this work as the most fulfilling thing she’s ever done. Building the meetings, creating the platform, and watching founders connect has given her something she didn’t know she needed.

And in her words, maybe she needs the people in the room just as much as they need her.
